It’s okay to take it easy on yourself.

I’ll admit, I’ve gained a trial this month I wasn’t prepared to write through, so, sufficed to say, I stopped writing.

But that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped growing.

I’ve grown — in places that needed the improvement; in places that still need improving, and in placed I never thought could be improved.

I have been humbled, stirred up, jolted, and each of those experiences have made me better.

And though I might not be outrightly seeking to be those things, I fully enforce an open door policy where any of these things may come and go as they please.

My goal this month is to surrender. To be open to the change the Lord is working within me.
